Point at your UI, prompt T3 Code.

Tencil pairs with the T3 Code on your machine. Every pin you place is a real T3 Code thread in the project that matches your dev site, with the element you clicked in its first message.

npx tencil
  • Every pin is a T3 Code thread

Threads land in the T3 Code project for your dev server's folder. Open one there from the pin's link icon, or read, reply and stop it from the inbox while you use the page.

  • terminal

    npx tencil connect "<pairing link>"

    Pairs by itself

Setup pairs with a local T3 Code on its own. Otherwise, create a pairing link in T3 Code under Settings, Connections, and hand it to Tencil, or use the Pair button in the overlay.

  • Send an element to any thread

In the composer, switch from a new thread to any thread in the project: the element you clicked becomes its next message, so an agent that already knows the feature picks it up.

  • Your models, your settings

T3 Code runs the agent with the providers you set up in it. Choose a model for Tencil with --model, as instance and model, such as claudeAgent:claude-fable-5-1.

Frequently asked questions

Using Tencil with T3 Code.

Yes, the desktop app. Tencil talks to it on your machine; a T3 Code server elsewhere works with --t3-url.

Yes. Each project picks its agent from the gear on the toolbar, and pins keep the agent they started with.

It only carries orchestration:read and orchestration:operate, lives in ~/.config/tencil/credentials.json and never reaches the page.

More integrations

Tencil works the same everywhere: point at an element, say what should change.
